Description

Some recent stuff I've been working on, I'm a little rusty after months of no drawing, but it feels good to be back. It was stuff like this that made me so inspired by science when I was a kid, probably a big reason why I studied math/physics at the university. Time to give back.

NASA/ESA joint project. All terrain autonomous robots with advanced sensors that descend and ascend from orbital platforms via internally generated carbon nanotubes.
Moving parts are powered by hydraulics with magneto-rheological fluids actuated by a small piezoelectrical nuclear reactor running on thorium. Rather than convert water into steam to run turbines like in a conventional fission reactor, this reactor uses micro fission to create high pressures against ferroelectric crystals which directly converts the pressure into electricity. The electricity is then used to create EM fields that push the fluid. No moving parts in the engine. Highly efficient. They are about 6 meters high. <pushes up glasses>
