It's time to clean house, if there are any images you would really like to hang on to from my gallery, better download them this week. I'll be archiving all but maybe the best ten. Cheers!
SO, I started full time freelancing about a year ago and just now hit 200 watchers, 5000+ page views and 25 llamas! Woohoo! I'm not sure what the llamas are for, but thank you!
Hi everybody!
I just wanted to drop a line and let everyone know how grateful I am for the support I've been getting from the community. It really means a lot and helps keep me going in this difficult career. Thanks so much for the Watches and Faves and Llamas and Comments and everything! It was only recently, June actually, that I decided to really try to become a freelance artist. In the past I've made attempts here and there, but after marrying the love of my life, my best friend and confidant, I realized that this is about more than just me. I promise to always improve and share my vision with you all, and I ask that in return you honestly let me know what you think about what I am doing. My hope is that together we can bring great new things to life.
Best wishes,
Ian
Hey DA,
I finally got around to re-designing my website and I am so relieved to be done. Web design is not really my favorite thing to do, but neither is shelling out a couple grand to have someone else do it for me. I'm pretty happy with it, it's a HUGE improvement over the disorganized blog-folio piece o' crap that I had before. I kept the blog in it's own section called sketchbook, so that I can post WIPs, concepts, studies, really old stuff, or anything else I don't feel is representative of my current work. Anyway feel to check it out and maybe leave a comment in the sketchbook.

I wouldn't normally post a plug for software, but this is free and is probably the coolest thing I've seen in awhile, plus it works with Deviant Art. If you use Firefox 2.0+ w/ XP or Vista check out www.cooliris.com/. It turns image galleries into 3D scrolling walls and works great with image searches, etc. I'm totally stoked! That's all.
